Cushioned in the foothills of the breathtaking Virunga volcano range in Rwanda, One&Only Gorilla’s Nest offers a once-in-a-lifetime, up-close encounter with the rare and majestic endangered mountain gorillas found only in this part of the world, roaming free in its own natural habitat.
The One&Only Gorilla’s Nest offers an energy boosting treatment utilizing Terres d’Afrique essential ingredients. The treatment is designed as a recovery treatment for guests after the challenging mountain trek to see the gorillas, traversing magical landscapes and scaling epic volcanoes.
Inspired by the history of Rwandan coffee, this Forest Coffee and coconut treatment begins with a local coffee and coconut body polish to re-invigorate your skin. It is then followed by a full body balancing and detoxing massage using a combination of lymphatic drainage movements and acupressure that detoxifies and activates the body’s natural curative abilities, while the use of heated coffee seeds relieves muscle tension.
